The company was founded in 1951; over more than 30 years Emilio Castelli SAS has built its expertise in Neutral Pellets = Sugar Spheres, for the pharmaceutical industry.

In contrast to granulates the pellets have nearly ideal spherical form. Their development is connected with the hard gelatine capsule.

We are able to supply a first quality product - in sizes ranging from 1400 to 300 micron - which can also be tailor - made to suit specific requirements of any pharmaceutical industry.

Our "Sugar Spheres" meet all specifications as outlined in the USP/NF and in the PH EUR Ed.

Our professional expertise is recognized world-wide. The export represents 50% of the turnover, and is mostly concentred in Europe: the main markets are France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland.

We are a small sized company: our producing capacity is 15 tons a month.
Therefore our vocation is, on one hand to ensure that the product quality remains at a very high level, and on the other hand to be a flexible structure, efficient and customer oriented.

We have set up, also, the production of "PURE SUGAR PELLETS" at last, we are able to produce "GLOBULES AND GRANULES" for homeopathic formulations. (only pure sugar)
